How to get published with IEEE In-Person / Online
In this customized author workshop, you will learn how to get published with the IEEE to increase the visibility and credibility of your research. We will share tips on how to organize and structure a high-quality paper, select an appropriate IEEE periodical or conference, get assistance from the IEEE Author Center, submit your manuscript, and use IEEE Xplore effectively to start your literature review. This workshop will help you navigate IEEE’s peer review and submission processes and discuss some of the top reasons papers get rejected.
***Please note: This is a hybrid session so you can book either an in-person or online place.***
The presenter will be Brian Ryckman (MLIS, MS Instrucitonal Design). IEEE Client Services Manager.
Brian worked as an academic librarian for 18 years at universities in Michigan, Florida, and New Hampshire, with interests in information literacy, scholarly communication, and collection development. In his previous positions, Brian supported students and faculty in Engineering, Computer Science, and other STEM disciplines. He holds a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from Wayne State University and a Master's degree in Information Technology with a concentration in Instructional Design and Development from Nova Southeastern University.
