Skills Boost: An overview of Digimap Online
Have you been frustrated by the low quality maps provided by Google and other free map services? Perhaps you have thought there should be a map out there that covers this? How can I get maps that I can use in my assignment/dissertation/thesis? The answer is Digimap.
This session will focus on Digimap a mapping tool that contains a very wide range of data. Covering Historic, Ordnance Survey, Marine, Geological, Environmental, Aerial, Lidar and Society mapping we will consider its coverage followed by a demonstration of the resource. This session will be tailored to the subject areas of those attending.
Skills boost sessions are aimed at students, but staff are welcome to attend.
