Endnote Desktop Staff Session (Social Work and Social Policy, Strathclyde Business School) In-Person
EndNote is a type of reference management software that enables users to manage references and import them directly into Word documents.
The EndNote Desktop course is a practical introduction to EndNote Desktop that covers all functionality available in the programme.
Skills covered include:
- Where to download from.
- Creating a library (and saving a back-up library).
- Adding a reference manually and editing.
- Exporting references from databases and Google Scholar.
- Inserting citation in a Word document (Cite While You Write).
- Groups – Group Sets – Sharing a Group.
- De-duplicating references.
- Synchronising with Endnote online.
The course is taught using EndNote (21) on Windows.
This event focusses on demonstrating features of EndNote. It is not designed as a hands-on workshop. If you wish to follow along with any demonstrations, please bring your own laptop (preferably with EndNote already installed).
