Theatre Thursday: Romeo and Juliet In-Person

The University Library is proud to offer access to Drama Online, an award-winning digital content library from Bloomsbury. Through Drama Online, Strathclyde students and staff can currently explore a diverse range of theatrical productions and educational materials from the National Theatre Collections One and Two.

Upcoming screening: Romeo and Juliet (Running time 1.33)

Romeo and Juliet is Shakespeare’s iconic tale of two star- crossed lovers who are torn between love and family loyalty. This production took place during the global pandemic in the empty Lyttelton Theatre in November and December 2020. Starring Jessie Buckley and Josh O'Connor.

We encourage all staff and students to make full use of the resources available through our Drama Online subscription. This valuable platform is an excellent tool for those studying English Literature or Creative Writing, and we welcome everyone to attend the screening and explore the collection
